Questions WorthAsking Upfront
Straight answers to what people usually want to know before reaching out.
What happens if you're unavailable, or something breaks after launch?
I stay reachable after delivery, and most fixes take minutes, not days. If a project needs guaranteed uptime response (a production system, not a marketing site), we agree on that upfront as part of scoping, and it's priced accordingly. For most website and automation work, a same-week response is the norm.
How does pricing actually work?
Every project is priced after we've talked through the scope, not before. I don't sell fixed packages or bill by the hour against a vague estimate. Once we agree on what "done" looks like, I give you a project price. Any third-party costs (APIs, data providers, hosting) are passed through at cost, no markup.
Where does my data go, especially with AI tools involved?
For anything sensitive (client records, financial data, compliance screening), the processing happens on your machine or your own infrastructure, not a third-party server I control. AI models are used as a tool inside that pipeline, not as a place your data gets stored. I'll walk through the exact data path for your specific case before we start, not after.
How long does a typical project take?
A focused website build usually runs one to three weeks. An automation tool depends entirely on how well-defined the current manual process is. Well-defined processes move fast. Processes nobody has actually mapped out take longer, because that mapping has to happen first.
Do you only work with tech companies?
No. Past work includes a Liechtenstein trustee firm, a cross-border law practice, and a compliance team at a legal and trust practice, none of them software companies. What matters is whether there's a real repetitive process or an outdated site to fix, not the industry.
I already have a website. Do I need a full rebuild?
Usually not. Most sites need targeted fixes: speed, structure, or a design that's aged out, not a teardown. I'll audit what's actually holding your site back first and tell you honestly whether a rebuild is worth it before recommending one.
What happens after the project is delivered?
It's yours. No retainer requirement, no recurring fee to keep it working. If you want ongoing changes or support, we agree on that separately, but nothing is held hostage behind a subscription.
